HOW ABOUT THE LOCATIONS?

Accepted Answer

Locations in the central and eastern part of the island are included in the box prices (approx. between Santa Catharina and Punda). For shoots in the western part of the island (approx between Otrabanda and Westpunt), an additional travel fee may apply due to distance and travel time. 
You will receive an overview of available locations and any applicable fees.   Would you like to add a second location to your shoot to create more variety in your gallery? No problem! Please keep in mind that adding an extra location requires additional time and travel. Any extra costs will depend on the chosen locations and will be discussed in advance (not available for the Mini Box).

WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY PHOTOS? (ALSO NEXT-DAY DELIVERY OPTION)

Your edited photos will normally be delivered within approx. 10 days.Need your photos sooner? With the Next-Day Delivery option, you'll receive your fully edited gallery the following day for an additional USD 55.

WHO SELECTS THE IMAGES THAT WILL BE EDITED?

I usually make a careful selection of the best images from your session for editing. This allows me to deliver a consistent and high-quality gallery that reflects my style and creative vision.

Unedited images can look very different from the final edited result, as color, light and atmosphere are an important part of my editing process. For this reason, I generally recommend letting me make the initial selection, so you receive a gallery that truly represents the best possible outcome of your session.

Of course, if you prefer to make your own selection, that is absolutely possible. Just let me know in advance and I will happily accommodate your preference. And if you fall in love with more images than what’s included in your package, you can always order additional edited photos afterward.

Question 5

WHAT IS THE BEST TIME FOR MY SHOOT?

Photoshoots are usually scheduled in the early morning or late afternoon, when the light is softer, temperatures are more comfortable and popular locations are less crowded. This ensures the best possible atmosphere and results for your images.  If morning or late afternoon doesn’t work for you, we can schedule a daytime shoot and I will make sure to create the best possible atmosphere and images with the light that is available.

HOW ABOUT DRONE PHOTOGRAPHY?

Looking to add a unique perspective to your photoshoot? Drone photography can be added to your session for an additional USD 85. This includes 6 professionally edited drone images, on top of the images already included in your package.

Availability depends on the location, weather conditions and local regulations.   Drone photography can also be booked as a standalone service, for example for properties, locations or other specific requests. In addition, drone photography is available for commercial and custom shoots, such as real estate, branding or promotional content.  Standalone and commercial drone sessions are priced individually, based on location, duration and usage. Feel free to get in touch to discuss your needs and receive a custom quote.

Question 7

I’M NOT A MODEL, BUT I LOVE THE MODEL-STYLE PHOTOS. IS THAT POSSIBLE?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely! You don’t have to be a model to book a model-style photoshoot. If you love the look and feel of this type of photography, you are more than welcome.

Please keep in mind that the overall style, posing and direction will follow a model-inspired approach. I will guide you through the session and give you directions that are typical for this style, so you can achieve that confident, editorial look.

Question 8

I DON’T HAVE ANY EXPERIENCE IN FRONT OF THE CAMERA. IS THAT A PROBLEM?

Not at all! You don’t need any experience to book a photoshoot. I will guide you through the session and help you with posing, movement and small adjustments, so you can feel comfortable and confident in front of the camera.

My goal is to create a relaxed atmosphere where you can be yourself. No pressure, no stiff posing, just natural guidance to help you look and feel your best.

After booking, you will also receive a personal shoot guide with helpful tips on styling, colors and preparation, so you can feel fully prepared and relaxed on the day of your shoot.

HOW ARE PHOTOS TAKEN DURING A FAMILY OR GROUP SESSION?

During family and group sessions, I create a mix of full group photos and smaller combinations. This can include photos of the entire family, parents with children, siblings together, grandparents with grandchildren and individual portraits.

This way, you receive a varied and meaningful gallery that captures different connections and moments. If you already have specific combinations or wishes in mind, feel free to share them in advance. I am always happy to take your preferences into account.

WHAT HAPPENS IF THE WEATHER IS BAD?

My photoshoots take place outdoors, using the natural light and beautiful locations Curaçao has to offer. Luckily, the weather on the island is usually great, which means most sessions can go ahead as planned.

In the rare case of rain, we will simply look at the best option together. This may mean waiting for a short shower to pass, rescheduling to another time or day, or finding a suitable alternative if available.

Because rain on Curaçao is often brief, there is usually plenty of flexibility to still create beautiful images. My goal is always to make sure you have the best possible experience and results, even if we need to adjust slightly.

Question 11

CAN I USE THE PHOTOS ON MY WEBSITE AND/OR SOCIAL MEDIA?

Accepted Answer

Yes, absolutely! The selected and edited images are yours to use and share on your website and social media platforms.

If you do share your photos, I would of course really appreciate it if you tag or credit me, but this is never an obligation.

To protect my style and the quality of the work, the images may not be edited or altered by you or by third parties. My name and brand are connected to the final look and feel of the images, and I want to make sure they are always presented in the best possible way.

If you have specific wishes regarding the editing or look of your images, please feel free to let me know. I am always happy to discuss this with you and see what is possible.

Question 12

DO YOU OFFER OTHER TYPES OF SHOOTS?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely! In addition to portrait sessions, I also offer photography for weddings, events, parties, real estate and other commercial or custom projects.

Because these types of shoots vary in scope, duration and requirements, they are quoted separately and tailored to your specific needs. Feel free to get in touch to share your ideas and receive a custom quote.

DO YOU ALSO OFFER PHOTOSHOOTS IN OTHER COUNTRIES?

Yes, I do! I am available for photoshoots outside of Curaçao upon request. Travel sessions are possible and are priced based on location, travel time and any additional expenses.

When I travel or go on holiday, I often share my travel plans on my social media. If you happen to be in the same location, it may be possible to book a session there as well.
